Yep, that’s me, living my best life. Also, aren’t California winters the best?

Okay guys, I get it, w hen most people think of Malibu they think of Malibu Wines. I say I get it, because I REALLY REALLY REALLY love Malibu Wines. But you know what else I love. WINE. Pretty much anywhere. And when it’s being served at the cutest tasting room on Pacific Coast Hwy, I’m like totally and completely in! That said, if you’re on vacay or looking for a super chill experience, then you MUST do a tasting in the tasting room at Rosenthal Wines (make sure to call ahead to make a reservation). When you’re feelin’ fine post-tasting, then you know it’s time to grab a bottle of wine and head out to the back yard area to hang out at a table friends, eat some cheese or play bags and listen to live music. Or maybe all of the above (ME!).

Everything about this place is amazing. Great sunsets, a very local Malibu chill-vibe (much less touristy then most places), and maybe the best photo opp set-up of any winery. Make sure to grab yourself a “spotter” (cuz safety, le duh) and hop up on the giant lifeguard style chair out front. This is obviously a great idea anytime, but it’s especially appealing after you’ve had a glass or two of wine.

BONUS: The staff at Rosenthal is amazing. Helpful and friendly, just adding to the chill and relaxing vibes of the overall experience.

This is truly the perfect place to spend the afternoon and to bring friends/family or even celebrate a birthday! Literally no bad occasion to check this place out.

Be sure to UBER! It’s not too pricey coming from LA.

Bring a jacket in the winter – the beach air can get pretty chilly!
