Truth be told, I’m not a “Disneyland person.” Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the happiest place on earth as much as the next mouse-house aficionado out there, but would I buy annual pass? Probably not. Would I suggest that everyone on the planet go to Disneyland during the Christmas season? Definitely yes. I went with a few of my favorite people last weekend and within moments of entering the gates, I was overcome with relaxation and happiness. So much so, that when one of my friends suggested we all by ears, I didn’t even hesitate to say yes. For me, this is ground-breaking. How adorable and ridiculous do we look BTW? Four grown women in ears…don’t judge.

Disneyland is a sight to be seen during the holidays, with every single foot of the park decorated with lights and garlands, special Christmas themed parades featuring all of the characters in holiday garb, and the normally upbeat Disney spirit is completely taken to the next level.

I double dare any Grinch out there to go on “It’s a Small World,” and get off without a smile. Seriously, I’ll give the Grinch that succeeds one hundred dollars. Why, because it’s impossible!
