I was in town for pretty much 40 hours this week to be on a panel at OMMA (hence this photo of me doing my best adulting).
After I was wrapped working I found myself wondering back to my hotel when I saw the Empire State Building popping out over the other buildings. It was around sunset and thought “omg I bet it’s so pretty up there right now.” I looked at the time and then…like a hardcore tourist I walked in solo-style, got in line and jetted straight to the 102nd floor. Because, WHY NOT?!? Did you know it’s the highest place you can go to in NYC? #facts
I was ALL THE WAY UP.
It was super windy, but absolutely ridiculously GORG up there. I only had a few minutes to enjoy the view before I had to leave but it was totally worth it. I asked some random strangers to take my pic because my selfie game sucks and I looked like I was being pulled into outer space in every photo (note photo evidence above).
Moral of the story: when you’re in a place where you don’t feel like a toursist, don’t miss the opp to discover new things because it can be pretty rad.
