What better way to kick off 2012 on my blog than with a look at one of my favorite adventures of all time. It’s been one of my longtime goals to go on a dude ranch excursion, and while my recent trip to Cottontail Creek Ranch in Cayucos, CA might not exactly fit the description of the rustic yee-to-the-haw experience I was looking for, it was still pretty amazing! I, along with some of my fave people on the planet, threw our cutest plaid outfits (western fashion is sort of fab) and headed out into the wild west. Okay, so that might be a slight over-exaggeration, but for this group of city girls, this horseback riding ranch adventure was probably about as close to the wild west as we’re ever likely to get. Baby steps…
