My job is so cool, especially when an interview turns into a friendship. Because of the nature of what I do, I have the opportunity to constantly meet new people, who (for the most part) are talented, intelligent, and oftentimes hilarious. That said, I pretty frequently come down with what I refer to as “friend crushes.”  You know what I mean here? The sort of feeling where you just really want to be instant BFFs with someone because they’re just so uber cool?

At any rate, that was the way I felt over five years ago when I met a young singer/songwriter named Stacy Clark. I was doing a feature story on her that ended up spanning the course of several months. We had so much hanging out together during shooting, and well, the rest is history! It’s been so exciting to watch her career grow! She is one of the most down-to-earth, hilarious, and willing-to-do-anything/talk-to-anyone kind of girls I’ve ever met. It’s never a dull moment with Stacy…plus (total bonus) she makes AMAZING music.
