Okay, so aside from the fact that I am completely obsessed with the new Katy Perry/Snoop Dogg collabo for “California Gurls,” I, of course, am proud to be a California girl myself. Summer never really stops in my fair state and I couldn’t be happier!  Autumn, Spring and Winter have got NOTHIN on Summer.

Let’s face it friends…there is just something about those three months named June, July and August. Just writing this, I can feel a smile stretching across my silly face, and my heartbeat is picking up. So, even though I have to work all season long, I will be in a summer state of mind.

My summer obsession countdown list:

1. Katy Perry’s HOT HOT HOT collabo with Snoop D-OH-DoubleG

2. Side Braids: the easiest and most boho-chic look this summer.

3. Super FAB bikinis from Molly Brown’s (My fav brands are Vitamin A and L* Space)

4. Jergen’s Tanning Lotion: the most cost efficient, safe way to get that beachy bronze look.

5. Coconut Water from VITACOCO: This stuff makes me feel healthy and in my twisted mind, it’s the way sunblock would taste in a perfect world. Plus, it’s super healthy, and their slogan is hilarious – “No chemists ever touch their nuts!” LOVE!
