Want to pretend you’re Beyonce for a minute (or a weekend)? Well then, I HIGHLY recommend you head to Calistoga Ranch, which is nestled DEEP into the heart of California’s wine country. I’ve had the opportunity to stay at some pretty majestic, high-end hotels, but there was something special, something perfectly rustic about this property and it’s impeccable staff that sent the experience into overdrive.

Maybe it was the fact that guests are toted around in golf carts, or the outdoor shower that gave me life, or maybe it was the fact that there’s a gorgeous lake on the property, maybe just maybe it was the fact that there was a perfectly bubbling brook running through the property, or perhaps it was the vineyard, or even the fact that I watched the sun rise amidst fog over the swimming pool, or maybe it was the fact that I felt so ‘one with nature.’ I’m honestly not really sure. What I am sure of though? Calistoga Ranch basically cast some sort of relaxation spell on me and I’m totally okay with it.

PS: Did I mention Beyonce stays at Calistoga Ranch? Cuz, I heard she does. So, like, le duh.
