I haven’t had an ear infection in like 20 years. Not exaggerating. You’re only supposed to get ear infections when you’re like 8 years old because you’re mom can’t drag you out of the pool for 3 months straight and your goals is hold your breath fully submerged for 5 minutes. Oh, just me? Whatever.

I’m happy to report that I contracted the gnarliest ear infection of ALL TIME, but it was totally and completely worth it. During a birthday getaway for my Dad’s big 6-0 this summer I decided that the whole crew needed to do a boat ride/snorkel/free dive adventure. Also, SUP, ya know Stand Up Paddle-boarding. Yeah, that was an EPIC fail, but it was epic nonetheless. The trip was epic too. I even successfully forced my family to dress head-to-toe in white linen because P. Diddy makes it look so cool and also, why not?
