Jos Investigates – Who Are the Jogging Twins of Brentwood?

Last week, my trusty pal Dana Ward and I were driving through Hollywood enroute to a meeting at around 12 noon, when we spotted something we thought we were the first to witness. Something so fascinating, weird, and awesome, we drove past twice, as slowly and awkwardly as humanly possibly, snapping multiple photos along the way.

Here’s what we saw: 
Yes, those are identical twins, wearing identical Baywatch red beach shorts, sporting identical curly tossled locks, and yes, if you look closely, they are even holding their iPods in the same hand, AND for love of all things holy…they are running in sync. I. JUST. CAN’T. 
Obviously, I was immediately obsessed, so I posted the photo to instagram, only to learn that *GASP* everyone else already knows about them. Say WHHHAAAT?
Here are the comments I received:
So…I didn’t get the memo that these two dudes, AKA the famed jogging twins of Brentwood are essentially full-on local celebs.
In fact, Brentwood’s local paper, the always-trusty Patch, did some research of it’s own. Readers told Patch the duo “can be seen, shirts or shirtless, running at 26th and San Vicente, Wilshire and Bundy, near Pinkberry and near Whole Foods.” Apparently my sighting was not a novelty, because I am literally the last person in LA to ever see them.
Because of my out-of-control need to know everything and my extreme fascination with these joggers, I went investigative style and learned that the mystery joggers are, as noted earlier, actors by the names Garry and Jason  Clemmons. IMDB credits them with playing jogging twin 1 and jogging twin 2 on the season 4 finale  of Cougar Town. And these guys are all about spreading love. Here’s an interview where they talk about being twins, love and more (whilst shirtless, you’re welcome).
 
ADDED BONUS: HERE’S A VIDEO OF THEM JOGGING IN PLACE IN UNISON FOR 25 SECONDS – IS THIS REAL? I am beyond obsessed.

    Fantastic. A friend just saw them in Vincente Foods– fully clothed– imagine that! We too are obsessed with them. Thanks for the research, Joselyn. Nice to discover your blog, too.
