I just got home from the BEST (albeit freezing) trip to New York! If you guys have been following me for a long time, you’ll know I go to NYC kind of frequently, both for work and for play. This time around, I headed to New York City with one of my favorite brands of ALL-TIME…Tarte. Yep guys, after years of manifestation, ya girl (aka me) was invited to go to NYC on a #TrippinWithTarte. And yes, it was everything you’d imagine but also, SO MUCH MORE. Thank you to Tarte for the amazing time. I stayed in the city for a a few extra days to shoot a video at DevaCurl and host an event at the Ramy Brook store (PS: the blue dress is from Ramy and it’s linked HERE). ALSO though…I got to stay at the Pierre Hotel. Are you familiar with this gem of a property? It’s basically the most regal property on earth. I was living my best Blair-Waldorff-life. But also, I’m more a Serena myself…ha! They hosted me for the mostly lovely stay and I will be back for sure.

This #FASHUN was my “winter pool party” look. (Link coat, sandals??)

Underneath the robe was this fun set from LSPACE (here’s a similar top & bottom).  I never expected I’d be at a pool party in Brooklyn in the middle of the winter, we had a blast. Diplo was DJ-ing. PRETTY KEWL.

Then I visited the DevaCurl DevaChan salon in New York City and it was FREAKING AMAZING! One of my besties, who also happens to be a Broadway super-star, Teal Wicks came along for the day of fun. Her hair looked straight fire! Also straight fire – her performance starring in THE CHER SHOW on Broadway right now where she plays CHER. Teal is an icon and I’m so glad we got to have this day of freezing fun in New York City!

Just when I think I’ve shocked by this hair journey, I get shook to the core even more (in a great way obviously). Shout-out to DevaCurl’s lead stylist Dominique for being such a wonderful gem of a human being and spending so much time teaching us.
