2 YEARS LATER…OUR PATIO IS FINALLY DONE! Honestly, if it hadn’t have been for quarantine, we probably would’ve never finished this patio. I mean, let’s be real, we probably wouldn’t have even looked out the window or over the fence to see it, because we’d become pretty content pretending it didn’t even exist. But here we were, months into being at home, and totally sick of being inside all the time, and finishing the patio had obviously become a real life necessity. I could not be more excited about how this project turned out and how we were able to create 3 distinct moments in a very small space. We have a bbq/storage area, a couch/lounge area and we have a dining area. Also, I’m no longer scared that the fire department will show up and tell me my house is a fire hazard (you think I’m kidding, I’m not lol). This project is further evidence of what I always say: you don’t have to sacrifice your dreams because you have a small home or a small space. I’m especially excited about the DIY plant wall we created. It was SO easy and inexpensive and totally renter friendly, too.
